My experience
Eje cafetero are the departments
of Caldas, Risaralda and Quindio. Also part of Valle del Cauca, Antioquia and
Tolima. This area of Colombia is often recognized for its inhabitants paisas,
which are very kind, generous, sociable and friendly. They make you feel at
home. Is a forceful culture that teaches about the wonderful coffee bean, as
well as a great deal of tourist activities revolving around ever-present coffee
traditions and their characters, is permanently developing. His landscapes are
wonderful. Large and lush green mountains, are a natural spectacle Colombian.
Also the weather is nice and warm.
Moreover, I think it is important
to mention the delicious and unique coffee produced in this region. Its flavor
is so natural that it feels as if freshly ground coffee. This area has many
places willing to eat healthy and peaceful environments. Meat served with
beans, rice, plantains, avocado, egg, sausage, fried plantains and cooking
create paisa called "bandeja paisa". The trout with patacón in
Salento are unforgivable. The “mazamorra de maiz” sweetened with panela or
sugar water and cheese are drinks. Be sure to try the arepas with cheese,
donuts with custard, the Solteritas, wafers with cream, the fluffy strawberry
and guava and figs with cheese.
I also want to share the
excellent tourism is managed in this area. First I went to the National Coffee
Park. In this place I found attractions, museums, history, food and souvenirs.
Everything was focused on coffee. His landscapes were wonderful. Another site
was thermal santarosa de Cabal. The weather was quite cold but there were two
types of springs: hot and cold. There were also lots of nature, mountains and
waterfalls. Finally, I went to Quindío Botanical Gardens', located in the town of
Calarcá, where you can also see in the butterfly with the largest exhibition of
butterflies in the country.
This region is unique in the
world and is recommended for all tourists in the world. Food, drink, people,
sights and nature are the best choice to have the best vacation of your life.
Also known transport characteristic are called Jeeps. The most beautiful of
this region are its landscapes. His sunrises and sunsets. Along with a
delicious Colombian coffee, which makes them more pleasant to spend the day in
this beautiful place, full of peace, tranquility and warmth.
Why Eje Cafetero?
This blog is focused especially to the most representative
tourist sites of Eje Cafetero, like the people who live here. In this wonderful
part of Colombia, find a different culture, showing the importance of
protecting the environment, and so make it known to the whole world.
In the blog I want to focus on these issues, as they were the
two aspects I enjoyed most during your stay on this site, and which shoulder a
lot, because I think they are very important to make them known to all the
world's tourists.
